I had to laugh out loud when I saw Jeremiah’s list. He is SUCH a guy! However, after reading his list, it became pretty clear what Jeremiah really cared about when it came to our wedding, and that he didn’t really want to sweat the small stuff. On the other hand, it was clear that I was really concerned about the lesser details, and Jeremiah has since had a better understanding of the wedding I’ve been imagining. Despite the differences, it’s good to know what’s really important to us both: Marrying each other (check!), including our families throughout the day, good music, and cool clothes.
I’ve compiled our two lists, so we have one to reference:

We know our list will be constantly changing as we learn more about wedding planning — it already has evolved so much! By starting with a solid list like this, however, we’ll have a good basis for prioritizing, and a better understanding of what we both can expect throughout the process.
