I Found My Dress!!!

Back in October I thought I had found the dress of my dreams! It was located in a store called Something New Boutique in Colorado Springs. It was a light gold dress that fit my body pretty well, or so I thought! I was about 10lbs heavier then as well. The dress was gorgeous and the consultant, Analise(SP?) who helped me throughout the entire process was amazing!! She was polite and really gave interest in my wedding! Fast forward to a few weeks ago. My mother and I were heading down to CO Springs to purchase the dress when my Fiance mentioned that one of his clients heard of a shop that just opened up in a place called the “highlands” of Denver. The Highlands is an upscale neighborhood just west of downtown with cute little shops along 8-10 blocks of the street!! We decided to check it out! When we arrived at the Little White Dress Bridal Shop we were greeted by the friendly owner, Cate Malone, who pampered me with a gift basket full of discounts and WINE(My favorite). The consultant that helped me was Courtney Trembly who we sat down with and spoke about the type of dress I was wanted to try on! The hard part was the dresses were way out of my budget, but they were beautiful nonetheless so we went ahead and tried a few on. I will tell you that the first dress I choose and tried on fit my body so well I was speechless. Out of the numerous dresses I choose this one made me feel so BEAUTIFUL its hard to describe in words!! I was in the dress for a very long time before I made the decision to cut my costs on other items for the wedding and purchase the dress of my dreams!! A lot of people gave me different advice before buying the dress: “wear your mother’s”, “dont put a budget on it”, “borrow one”, “Stay in your budget range.” I appreciated the advice, but after careful thought I went with what made ME FEEL LIKE THE MOST GORGEOUS BRIDE!! My father, mother, and future husband all agreed that I deserved to have the one that complemented my figure!! Before purchasing the dress my mother and I decided to continue our journey down to Co Springs just to make sure I made the right decision! After trying on the dress I thought I wanted, I knew my heart was with the dress in Denver!! So we drove back to Denver and made the purchase! There will be a trunk show coming up at the Little White Dress Bridal Shop here in the future where I will pick up my veil to compliment my dress.
