We would like to introduce Abby and Jeremiah, a wonderful young couple recently engaged from Northglenn Colorado. These two lovebirds will share their personal experiences of planning a wedding for July 2012.
Let’s get to know them a little bit…
How did you meet?
“Jeremiah and I went to the same schools throughout our education — we both went to a small Catholic elementary school in Grand Junction, public high school, and college at the University of Colorado. Jeremiah was always two grade levels above me, however, so we rarely crossed paths. In high school, Jeremiah was always the sly, cool, party-crazy “jock”, while I was always the stereotypical choir and theater “nerd”. When we had a math class together my sophomore and his senior year, I developed a crush and considered asking him to our Sadie Hawkins dance, but was beaten to it by the girl that sat next to me. After he graduated, we only rarely ran into each other.
In college, I became friends with one of Jeremiah’s close cousins. At a party the night before Ryan’s and Jeremiah’s graduation, Ryan convinced both of us to come out separately (despite the fact that I was sick and Jeremiah was worried about waking up early the next day for commencement), and Jeremiah and I were happily surprised to be reunited for the first time in several years. Over text the next day, Jeremiah asked me on our first date where we hit it off incredibly well. The rest, as they say, is just history!”
Tell us a little bit about yourselves…
Abby: “I am a 23 year old choir, drama, and piano teacher at Erie Middle School in Erie, CO. I was born and raised in Grand Junction, CO, and moved to Boulder for college at CU Boulder, where I majored in Choral Music Education. When I graduated, job opportunities and a certain new love interest helped me make the decision to stay on the Front Range for work. I come from amazing, humongous families on both sides, and have wonderfully supportive parents, siblings, and nieces and nephew. I absolutely love traveling and adventure in any form! This May, we purchased our first home in Northglenn, and look forward to filling it with puppies and babies in the future!”
Jeremiah: “I am a 25 year old retail manager. I grew up in Grand Junction, CO and I moved to the front range in 2004 to attend college at the University of Colorado at Boulder. I enjoy golfing in the summer and skiing in the winter. I love watching any college football game — especially the Buffs. I am looking forward to spending the rest of my life with such an amazing woman!”
Jeremiah is my son and I could not be happier with the lady he chose to be his wife! Oh, and I just happen to be shooting the wedding/reception! How cool is that?!
The Dad!
I am so excited and blessed to be a part of this wonderful wedding experience! Abby and Jeremiah are an amazing couple and I can’t wait to see how things come together! I love you guys!
We are soooo happy for these two. It’s been fun watching the spark kindle….:) We welcomed Abby into the family some time back, and see how amazing they are together. We wish Gods blessing on all the amazing moments ahead and years to come.
Congrats Jeremiah and Abby!
We Love you Bunches!
