Venue Description

Your wedding day is one of the most important days of your life. The museum’s professional event staff will ensure that you and your guests enjoy your special day with elegance and style.

The museum is located downtown Denver near Civic Center Park. It offers a modern and unique venue for your day. The Denver Art Museum complex contains two of Denver’s architectural gems – the North Building, designed by Gio Ponti, and the Frederic C. Hamilton Building, designed by world-renowned architect Daniel Libeskind.

The museum offers beautiful spaces to suit your need and style. Ponti Hall, the largest event space, boasts 25-foot ceilings and large windows overlooking a private patio. Ponti Hall can accommodate up to 370 guests for a seated dinner and 500 for a reception. Perfect for a wedding ceremony or cocktails, Schlessman Hall accommodates up to 200 guests for a seated dinner and 275 for a reception. Duncan Pavilion is a fabulous space with an outdoor terrace and wraparound windows that provide stunning views of downtown Denver. The Pavilion, a perfect space for cocktails or a ceremony, accommodates up to 100 guests seated and 150 guests for a reception. The world-class art galleries of the Denver Art Museum can also be open during your event for your guests to enjoy.

For catering needs, the museum provides Kevin Taylor Catering at the Denver Art Museum, offering a wide variety of menus, prices and services.
