Every woman wants to look outstanding and lose weight for their wedding day… who wouldn’t? After all, your pictures last a lifetime, right! Recently several of my girlfriends are getting married and we had the “weight loss” discussion…How to lose weight? When to lose the weight? Will the dress fit? etc. We had some of our own ideas but were curious what you could find online. Of course every wedding website has their “trick” to weight loss but there wasn’t much content or many outstanding ideas that made us feel enlightened with the “how to” besides the “Bride Boot Camps” plastered every where you look. I don’t know if you are that extreme (I sure wasn’t) but whatever you are comfortable with, go for it! Fortunately we did come across one article that was realistic and had some simple yet refined weight loss dos and don’ts. I also liked the fact that the article adressed the weight gain issue after the wedding day. Oops! It happens…but maybe there is some hope. Check out this article for more details, but most importantly be YOU and take care of your health and mind before the momentous day! He did ask you to marry him before you lost the weight…

You’ve got to be realistic about weight lost – 2lbs a week max! Plus, you don’t want to be changing your weight too much after your initial dress fitting.
Thank you for the enlightening article. I will follow you via RSS.
After posting this article I had dinner with my mother-in-law and during the meal there was a discussion on calories and weight loss. Of course this is what Brides to be want right..? She was telling me that in order to lose weight she must keep a 1200 calories daily intake. I have read this in several articles about health and weight loss and I am not a fan! I can just imagine my stomach eating itself just thinking about it! You need to go to a calorie counter website that calculates with your age, weight and goal, etc how many calories you need to accomplsih every day living activities (breathing, thinking, blinking…) then you can calculate what you do on an every day basis and what you eat. For me, being a little under 5′, I need 1100 calories to be alive…so 1200 calories wouldn’t let me do anything extra and I like to dance and workout. Be careful what you read or who you listen to. For me, my weight…age and height and my goal to lose 1 lb a week, I need to eat atleast 1500-1600 calories a day and workout 30 min-1 hr in addition to my work day and house work. That sounds more realistic to me!!!!
This is very moving work you have created for us. Some people need to be informed that these things can happen to anyone. You have revealed to me a better view now.
I get to your web site by means of bing. It is a pleasant web-site to read about colorado weddings and the wedding venues available for receptions. I will often revisit.
how to lose 20 pounds in a week
Really helpful and informative article on weight loss for your blog. Thanks for sharing.
Although it may sound a bit corny, I really like taking care hearing and whilst I do agree with the above poster and I really hope I do not get shot down for stating this, but I think it is important to take all things in moderation.

me and my wife have tested so many weighloss pograms. I would have to say the UniqueHoodia pills show the best results, they seem to bring FAST results!, not bad at all.
Hi I have been reading your blog for the past two weeks and it is interesting, do you have a RSS feed?
I’ve been trying to lose weight for years. Actually I have over and over again. It gets old. 🙁 I’m going to try another diet plan, but I’m not sure which one. Have any of you tried the Every Other Day Diet or the Diet Solution Program? If so, how did it work for you?
