Shopping for Wedding Dresses and the Nightmare botique shop!!

So my best friend Stacie flew in from Las Vegas last weekend to help me shop for wedding dresses. I invited my other two besties Christa and Stephanie as well! So after a girls night out in Ptown(which was a total blast) we had four appointments between Pueblo and Colorado Springs to try on wedding dresses. Note: Don’t go out the night before!! 🙂 Nonetheless, we were up by 10:00 showered and ready to make our appointments. The first Shop was Style Bride. A beautiful quaint boutique in Pueblo! They had wonderful dresses and were super helpful. The next dress shop was in fact A NIGHTMARE!! Every girl wants to feel pampered and pretty when they are trying on dresses. Well be warned that if you visit Tie the Knot in Pueblo, CO that is not what will happen. They had a variety of beautiful gowns and the employees that worked there were just FABULOUS. Things were going well until the Owner walked out. I explained to them all that I was from Denver and wanted to shop in my hometown. Well the third dress I tried on was not very fitting, so my bestie Stacie said “eww I don’t like that one on you” well the owner heard that ran over and said “Were done” and she ran back to my dressing room and started to put away all of the gowns! Then she proceeded to tell the employees, RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME, that she would not have someone from Denver try on dresses here and then go back to Denver and purchase one there! I was livid, but not as much as Stacie I don’t think. So in the end it was very un-delightful. Not to mention we were a bit tired from the night before. Oh well, she wont be getting any of my business. Other than this incident the rest of the trip was wonderful!! We visited a shop in Springs called Something New Boutique and RossyForm Fashion. They had great service and “to die for” dresses. So I will be making my decision soon!!
